DMXDIPster 2.3

DMXDIPster is a straightforward utility designed for converting between DMX addresses and DIP switch configurations used in lighting devices.

By entering a DMX address into the designated field and clicking "Get Switches," the tool provides the corresponding DIP switch settings. The switch indicators on the left display the appropriate configuration, while the address, along with the necessary switch states, is also listed below the address input. The application maintains a record of all entered addresses until the "Clear List" option is selected.

The default setting assumes that switch one is turned on for address one. To modify this, users can activate the "1 = All off" switch, which affects only subsequently entered addresses, providing flexibility in configuration.

To determine the DMX address from existing switch settings, users should set the DIP switches to match those on the device and then click "Get Address." This reverse lookup feature simplifies translating physical configurations back into DMX addresses.

Additional functionality is available through DMXRef, which incorporates DMXDIPster's core features along with several supplementary tools for comprehensive lighting management.
